Our beginning at Greenhills Farm
We are a young farming couple from the local Whitby. In 2023, at the ages of 23 and 26, we were given the incredible opportunity to take on a tenanted farm on the Mulgrave Estate. Starting with only 50 head of sheep, our passion for farming sheep and beef has seen us grow significantly. We now proudly manage 170 breeding ewes and 40 head of cattle, which we carefully rear to help feed our country. We also work closely with local farmers to source our delicious pork, ensuring a community-focused approach to all our produce.

Our commitment to British farming
At Greenhills Farm Vending, our core principles revolve around supporting and sustaining small farms in England. We are dedicated to raising awareness about the challenges faced by small farms like ours and highlighting the vital importance of choosing British meat. Every decision we make is driven by our commitment to ethical farming, animal welfare, and ensuring a resilient future for our agricultural heritage.

Inspiring the next generation
We hope to inspire a new generation of farmers to take the leap into this rewarding, yet challenging, profession. You don't see many young, first-generation farmers today, and we believe that by sharing our journey and demonstrating the viability of diversified small farms, we can encourage others. Our diversification into Greenhills Farm Vending is designed to make small British farms viable again, ensuring that the legacy of quality farming continues for years to come.
